Islet Madame

A magical place to relax

The islet owes its name to the fact that Madame Du Parquet, the wife of the Governor of Martinique Jacques du Parquet liked to rest there in the 1650s.

Even today it has not lost any of its appeal and its white backgrounds, its beach lined with tropical trees make it a real little corner of paradise!

You will enjoy lounging in warm, crystal clear water on a white sand background or strolling on the islet to discover its tropical flora.

The bravest can climb on foot to the highest point of the islet and enjoy a very pretty view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ilet Madame also has the particularity of being connected to Pointe La Rose by a coral shoal less than 1m deep at low tide.
